LANCASTER GATE

Budget £250,000+

This project involved a deep refurbishment of the lower ground floor of a beautiful 4 storey family home in Lancaster Gate. The work involved creating a large, open plan kitchen dining area including a bespoke black American walnut kitchen, a polished concrete floor, a two-sided glass tunnel fireplace in the centre of the room and a custom-made mirror wall. We worked with architectural lighting specialists John Cullen to curate the perfect lighting design and create a home photography studio. This project also saw us install a huge 65-million-year-old fossil to the main entrance hall which involved building a wall and a bespoke solid walnut plinth. It took a lot of logistical planning (including removing the front door and door frame) and a lot of hands on deck, but it was incredibly rewarding to see this stunning piece of art take centre stage in our client’s home.
